In his search for his own classification systems, the reading fan has not yet overcome the interplay between human and artificial intelligence. Not based on scientific principles, but by no means less interesting, are his investigations into the meaning and claim of his existence. In his endeavour to overcome the subject-object split, he makes himself the object of his thinking and searches for his own basis of being, independent of man, in (of all things) the Bible.

Because of these discrepancies, Matthias Gubler, in his work "The Search for the Meaning of Existence", transcends the irrevocable difference between the object of knowledge and the knower and challenges us to rethink the relationship between transcendence and immanence.
